Our products are created by experienced artisans who select their materials with care and test them to make sure that they meet the highest standards of quality. The distinctive characteristics of suede and nubuck leather are the brilliance of the colors and the velvety feel of the surface, which are achieved using specific dyeing and napping techniques. Particular care is taken during the manufacturing process to minimize the material’s tendency to release residual dust and color. This phenomenon cannot be completely eliminated, however. Like vegetable-tanned leathers, these materials have low resistance to rubbing, either when wet or dry. It is therefore not advisable to pair dark-colored bags with light-colored items of clothing.
To preserve the natural qualities and characteristics of your items over time, it is therefore important to observe the following precautions during use:
- Avoid contact with water, oily substances, perfumes, make-up and pale-colored items of clothing.
- Avoid exposing the products to direct sources of light and heat or damp environments.
- If your handbag or leather item comes into contact with water, do not rub the surface. Absorb the moisture by dabbing the product with a soft cloth in a natural color instead.
- Do not use care products that are not designed for your item, such as shoe polish, trichloroethylene, oils, stain removers, alcohol or solvents.
- To help your handbag keep its shape, fill it with tissue paper when not in use and store it upright in its flannel. Do not store it in a plastic or nylon bag.
Our staff is always at your disposal should you need further information or assistance.
