The use of natural leathers means that it may be possible to make out variations in color on the surface of the product, as well as veins, wrinkles and imperfections in the grain. These natural materials are finished with minimal use of substances that may alter the final look of the article. Articles finished in this way have low resistance to rubbing, either when wet or dry. To preserve the natural qualities and characteristics of your items over time, it is therefore important to observe the following precautions during use :
- Avoid contact with water, oily substances, perfumes, make-up and pale-colored items of clothing.
- Avoid exposing the products to direct sources of light and heat or damp environments.
- If your handbag or leather item comes into contact with water, do not rub the surface. Absorb the moisture by dabbing the product with a soft cloth in a natural color instead.
- Do not use care products that are not designed for your item, such as shoe polish, trichloroethylene, oils, stain removers, alcohol or solvents.
- To help your handbag keep its shape, fill it with tissue paper when not in use and store it upright in its flannel. Do not store it in a plastic or nylon bag.
